# Late Pile > Catch up on overdue tasks. Paste the tasks that slipped past their due dates, one per line - task | due | time | ! > | notes, or free text with a date in it. The page works out how late each task is, lays out your next working days > with the minutes each can hold, and builds a plain catch-up plan (urgent first, then the latest, each on the first day > with room), drawn as a slip line from where each task fell behind to the day it gets done. A metered run decides each > task - do it on a given day with a first step, hand it to the person its line names with a message, ask whether it is > still needed when its notes say it may not be, or leave it for later when the days are full. Built on the SkillSafe > skill @googleworkspace/recipe-review-overdue-tasks. https://late-pile.skillsafe.ai/ ## What is free - Reading up to 40 lines: due dates (Oct 20, 20 Oct, 10/20, 2026-10-20, yesterday, last Fri, 3 days ago), times (20m, 1h, 1h30; none counts as 30 minutes), urgent marks (!, urgent, asap) and notes. - How late each task is against "today" (any date you set); tasks not due yet or with no date are listed and left out. - The plain plan over 3, 5, 7 or 10 working days (Mon-Fri, Sun-Thu, Mon-Sat or every day) at 30 minutes to 6 hours a day; a task longer than a day gets a day to itself. - The slip line picture (PNG, SVG), a checklist, Markdown, CSV and JSON. - Three samples replay their saved plans at no cost. ## The metered task One task, `triage`, on gpt-terra, metered per run. Input string fields: `task`, `context`, `today`, `capacity`, `plan_days` (one line per day, `d1.` ...), `tasks` (one line per late task, `t1.` ...), `totals`, `page_plan` and `not_sent`. The reply is one JSON object: `verdict` (`clears` or `overloaded`), `actions` (one per task: `id`, `action` - `do`, `hand_off`, `ask` or `later` - `day`, `first_step`, `message`, `why`) and `note`. The page keeps one action per task it sent, refuses any day the reply would overfill, lists a task the reply left out under later, and checks the verdict against what is left for later. ## Links - API tutorial: https://late-pile.skillsafe.ai/api.html - Source skill: https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@googleworkspace/recipe-review-overdue-tasks
